Over 20 Years of Research

Research has always been an integral part of the culture at Platinum Performance. The effects of our formulas on equine health are studied in colleges of veterinary medicine across the country. In addition, scientists in the Platinum Performance Clinical Nutrition Laboratory study cutting-edge ingredients and innovative theories about equine nutrition.

Want to Learn More about the Equine Microbiome?

Platinum Performance is currently conducting an Equine Microbiome Project studying the effect the gastrointestinal microbiome has on different aspects of horse health. Through crowdsourced research, veterinarians and horse owners are contributing to this study on the equine gut by enrolling a horse in The Equine Microbiome Project. We are sequencing the DNA of the microbes found in the horse’s gut to discover how they interact with their environment, and their impact on horse health.
