Mary is the wife of World Champion Steer Wrestler and PRCA Hall of Fame Inductee, Byron Walker. Together, they are again blazing the rodeo trail with Latte, her trusty gelding.
Sweet Success
Byron purchased Latte for Mary and the new pairing was just getting their feet wet when an accident in the arena left Mary severely injured. Latte was fine, but had to wait for his rider to heal. Byron helped Mary battle back from a fractured hip and two vertebrae in her back. Approximately 18 months later, they stood in the arena at the WNFR as Champions of the World.
