Product Details
Glucosamine Sulfate is a sugar molecule derived from the chitin of crustacean shells. It is also a precursor to articular cartilage glycosaminoglycans and is devoid of antigenic properties. The availability of Glucosamine is rate limiting to glycosaminoglycan and proteoglycan production. In vitro studies show Glucosamine interferes with gelatinase, collagenase activity and superoxide free radical generation. Glucosamine Sulfate is readily used by the body to help promote healthy joints.
