Quite the Reflection
 QUITE the REFLECTION,"Dollar", started off his training career with Ron Ralls in Buellton, CA as a 2 year old. Ron had taken the best care of Dollar. Ron had Dollar on Platinum Performance early on as the training increased with the demands of being a Reined Cowhorse. Dollar always performed well and looked wonderful, and I know Platinum Performance was a hugh part of his conditioning. Dollar earned his National Reined Cowhorse Title "Superior Reined Cowhorse" and the 2001 GOLD NRCHA Open Reserve Champion Hackamore horse. After Ron moved to Texas, Dollar was put in training w/ Jake Gorrell in Visalia, CA. Jake continued using Platinum Performance and Dollar ended up being the 2002 NRCHA GOLD Open Bridle CHAMPION and AQHA Best of Americas Horse!! Then in 2003, Jake let his assistant trainer Eric Martin show Dollar in a few shows, where Eric helped Dollar complete the conveted NRCHA Supreme Reined Cow Horse title!! I am so proud of my little mighty Stallion...I owe a gratitude of thanks to Platinum Performance for helping Dollar be at his best through his career. THANK YOU PLATINUM PERFORMANCE!!

"Thought I would give you a quick update ... first, we have always had problems getting our horse to eat supplements. However, he actually looks for the Platinum in his grain and eats that first - bonus! We hauled him 18 hours to the Houston, showed and then hauled him back without any issues. This is a marked improvement for him and he has only been on the supplement for 30 days ... it seems to be doing the trick! "I just can't say enough about the Platinum Performance Ortho Chon! I have had horses for several years now. I have 3 paint horses and 1 welsh pony. My oldest horse, Duke now around 23 years old, has had intermitent back and hip pain for years now due to his slight swayed back and lack of care before I got him. He has been the best horse any horse person could ask for! He has been on glucosamine and MSM supplements now for at least 3 years, maybe more, but starting around January, his joint pain had gotten so bad that I was not able to ride him or even lead children around on his back. Even using Bute for 4 days (2 grams given twice a day) didn't even help! My veterinarian had been to one of your seminars and she suggested I try a 1.3lb sample of the Ortho Chon. I had nothing to lose at that point so I tried it. I followed the directions and used the whole container and I noticed how much more energetic he had started getting by playing with the other horses again. I decided to try him out for soundness and I was sooo elated when he was totally sound! He is so much happier and healthier! This is the first time in years that I have seen him without any joint pain at all! Since I am 5 months pregnant, my husband will only let me ride Duke and now that he's sound again, I can continue to ride him and get my excercise that I need! I just can't say enough! "I am a racehorse and racemule trainer in California. I just wanted to write to you about the huge success your vitamins were to my feed program throughout the California Racing Fairs race meet this summer. I had been using a vitamin mixture from the local feed store. For some reason I wasn't getting the "best" out of my horses and mules. After some discussion with my brother, also the owner of the animals, Loren, we decided that we would go for a change in feed and vitamins. He contacted our ranch veterinarian, Dr. Daniel Sweet, and he recommended your Platinum Performance vitamins. I immediately incorporated the vitamins into my daily feed program. In about one week I noticed a totally different barn of animals. They all seemed much more alert and seemed to be feeling "on top of their game." "Dear Friends at Platinum Peformance,
On the advice of Dr. Doug Herthel, I began to use the Perfomance Minerals in 1998 on 2 cases of OCD in young thoroughbreds that were donated into our program. In one of the horses mineral therapy was used in conjunction with surgery. The second horse had a very poor prognosis and was not a candidate for surgery. The lesion eventually healed and the horse became useful with 18 months of rest and mineral therapy only. These two were named Golden Bear and Rarifield Air, and they were treated and evaluated at Alamo Pintado. Presently I have a 3 year old that arrived as a yearling with severly contracted club feet and pedal oseitis. He has had check ligament surgery and been on mineral therapy for about 2 years and is now successfully in basic training. The success in all three cases, which began with extremly poor prognosis, I credit to the mineral supplement. Bone disorders and fractures seem to be most effected by mineral therapy in my experience. Thank you for your wonderful products."

"My Standardbred gelding (used as a pleasure horse) recovered from EPM 2 years ago. He has never been quite as strong and steady since then but he is OK for light work. After the EPM he became very spooky, even in the barn. While he had been a good trail horse before the EPM, he couldn't walk 20 feet without spooking. We checked out his eyes but could find no problems.
When I put him on Platinum Plus his body condition improved. People said he looked very fit and strong. He also did well on the trail again. I took him off the Platinum Plus for a few months this summer (couldn't afford it) and he went right back to spooking at everything. Now after 2 weeks back on Platinum Plus he is once again becomming steady on the trail. Your product doesn't make any claims about this, but I wanted to let you know. I'm not sure exactly why a supplement would help him in this area, but it seems to be making him a lot less spooky."

"I had contacted you a couple of months ago for advice on the amount of Platinum Performance to feed my coming 2 year old and you had asked for an update.I have an Arabian gelding that has had quite the medical history (born septic, pneumonia, ulcers, colic, Arabian Fading Syndrome and ultimately Wobblers Syndrome and contracted tendons - not to mention that his dam was bred to her own sire in error and that there were numerous times it was suggested that he be put down). After successful surgery (although it was followed by multiple infections and 5 months confinement) he had to regain muscle and strength. Both his regular vet and his surgeon were certain that he would also require surgery for his contracted tendons but due to his past medical history were very reluctant to do it. They suggested exercise and play for 5 months. I forgot to mention that the surgery was performed to fuse 4 vertebrae but 2 others were also slightly effected but could not be addressed at the same time. After a couple of months there was very slight improvement in the contracted tendons and my vet suggested Platinum Performance. I put him on it as directed (one scoop a day for yearlings) for 2 months but when I reordered I asked for a verification of that amount. You suggested 2 scoops a day of which he started about 5 to 6 weeks ago.Well, the 5 months was up last week and I took him back to the surgeon for a checkup. Not only was he amazed at the improvement in the tendons and said surgery is no longer needed but when they did x-rays they were unable to find any indication of a problem with the other 2 vertebrae. He is kicking up and bucking for the first time since at least last June!!!!! He is feeling great and looking good! How much is attributable to your product I have no idea but I know I'm keeping him on it for a long time!! Where I board there is a lady that has a 19 year old with chronic lameness. She has tried everything -x-rays, ultrasound, bute, supplements, farrier ideas, etc. She asked to try my Platinum Performance about 5 to 6 weeks ago and today claimed there is a big improvement for the first time in a long time. Therefore I am ordering again since we are both using the product.
